Catalans 20 Hull FC 16

A late fight-back was not enough for Lee Radford’s side as Hull succumbed in sweltering conditions in Perpignan.

Speaking after the game, Hull FC Coach Lee Radford said: “I thought uncharacteristic errors probably put us on the back foot and didn’t allow us to build any pressure.

“Although we had two tries disallowed, we just couldn’t build any consistent pressure in the first half.

“We can’t sulk, we’ve got to get it out of our systems and build for Wakefield next week.”
